Engineering Geotechnical Reports for Brisbane and Redlands Shire Council Planning Applications.

Exploring surface and subsurface conditions of project sites and following the resulting geotechnical recommendations can prevent costly construction delays and disastrous dames.
Independent Soil Testing in Brisbane has been servicing Queensland for over 30 years. We offer expert geotechnical testing for our clients to ensure your soil is at optimal conditions to undergo your process. There are two types of soil tests in Brisbane and soil reports that can be carried out when building or buying a block of land. Firstly, on unsewered blocks most local authorities require a site and soil evaluation to determine the permeability of the soil for the purpose of drainage design. If you require soil testing in Gold Coast regions, Greater Brisbane or South East Queensland, we’ve got you covered.A Permeability test and soil reports are to determine the amount of drainage that is required on the soil types encountered.
Compaction is an essential component of geotechnical soil testing. It’s the process in which stress applied to cause soil densification. Soil density increases as air is displaced from the pores between the soil grains. When stress is applied that causes soil densification due to water (or other liquid) then consolidation has occurred (in contrary to compaction). Compaction is the result of heavy machinery compressing the soil to a predetermined density.
